Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) Registration

As part of our screening process, we require all our leaders who are above 16 years old to hold a Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) card. If you work specifically with kids and/or youth, you will need to have your card on hand every time you are serving.

Safe Ministry Training

As part of our screening process, we require all relevant leaders to complete our Safe Ministry Course. This course requires you to watch some training videos, answer some questions and agree to our policies and code of conducts. The process takes about 30-40mins to complete and is valid for 2 years. Please note that you will not be cleared to serve in any leadership capacity until this is completed so we ask that you do so as soon as possible.

If you have already completed this within the last 2 years, you will not have to complete this at this time. If you are unsure, please check your Safe Ministry Screening Status on your Elvanto Profile or contact SafeMinistryAdmin@crossroads.asn.au.

Safe Ministry Training Course

Crossroads Christian Church is committed to the Biblical principle of providing Safe Ministry programs and actively protecting our children, youth, and vulnerable persons from harm. An important aspect of our Safe Ministry process is for all leaders to undergo Crossroads Safe Ministry Training, and read and agree to our Safe Ministry Policies.

This training is mandatory for all leaders, must be renewed every two years, and takes approximately 30–40 minutes to complete. This needs to be done every 2 years. You will be sent a reminder to re-train if you are still serving in a leadership capacity.
